Massachusetts lawmakers are still negotiating energy legislation (H.5175 / S.3166) that could affect the ability for consumers to choose a competitive electric supplier. The House and Senate have each advanced proposals that would allow individual municipalities to prohibit Bay Staters from shopping for their electric supply.
